Ms. Godsby joined Steidley & Neal in 2017. She earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in 1995 where she obtained a BA in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. She received her JD from The University of Tulsa in 2000. Thereafter, Ms. Godsby gained a wide range of experience in the legal field, including criminal, juvenile deprived and delinquent, family law, guardianships, adoptions, and military subcontracts. She started her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney for Tulsa County in 2000. From there, she went to work for Boeing as a procurement advisor. Ms. Godsby later represented children as an Assistant Public Defender in the Civil Division of the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office. Most recently, Ms. Godsby worked as an Assistant District Attorney for LeFlore and Latimer Counties. She has extensive experience in both jury and non-jury trials as well as successful appellate briefing.
Since joining the firm, Ms. Godsby continues to provide the devoted service to clients that she has displayed throughout her entire career. She now directs her broad range of experience in the courtroom and in legal writing to the firm’s research and appellate work, and to presenting motion practice for oral argument at the trial court and on appeal.
