Civil Rights, Employment Law, and Municipal Law.
Brad was born in Oklahoma City but grew up in Tulsa. He is a graduate of Will Rogers High School and the University of Tulsa where he received his degree in Rhetoric and Writing and ultimately his J.D in 1977. His legal career has centered on the defense of general civil litigation and insurance matters, including coverage opinions, coverage litigation, and the defense of bad faith claims.
Brad’s interest in writing led him to develop an emphasis in appellate practice, motion practice and general legal research and writing. Brad is the author of Oklahoma Automobile Insurance Law and Practice, a 600-page treatise covering general insurance principles, liability insurance, uninsured motorist coverage, etc. He has been lead appellate counsel on dozens of state and federal appeals, presenting oral arguments when needed. He maintains an AV Rating with Martindale-Hubbell.
Brad and his wife Sue spend many hours entertaining their three grandkids and helping with family and church. His activities include being a leader in youth group (still playing dodge ball) and Boy Scouts while still pursuing his hobby of Amateur Radio.
